Otur - Kalk Testi

Özet

Otur-kalk testi, özellikle yaşlı popülasyonda fiziksel fonksiyonu değerlendirmek için kullanılan önemli bir araçtır. İlk olarak 1985 yılında tanımlanan bu test, alt ekstremite kas kuvveti, postüral kontrol, düşme riski gibi birçok durumu değerlendirmek amacıyla kullanılmaktadır. Testin farklı versiyonları ve uygulanış biçimleri mevcuttur. Beş kez otur-kalk testi, sık kullanılan bir versiyon olup, diz ekstansiyon kuvveti ve yürüme hızı ile yüksek korelasyon göstermektedir. Testin güvenilirliği çeşitli popülasyonlarda kanıtlanmış olup, düşme riskini ve günlük yaşam aktivitelerindeki fonksiyon kaybını tahmin etmede etkilidir. Ayrıca, sarkopeni tanı algoritmasında önemli bir rol oynamaktadır.
