Akut Nazofarenjit

Özet

Çoğunlukla solunum yolu virüslerinin neden olduğu ve klinik olarak üst solunum yollarını tutan akut solunum yolu viral enfeksiyonları semptomlarıyla kendini gösteren soğuk algınlığı, pediatri pratiğinde önemli bir sorundur. Yüksek prevalansı, sosyoekonomik yükü, gereksiz antibiyotik kullanımına neden olması ve etkili önleme tedbirlerinin eksikliği (influenza ve kısmen RSV enfeksiyonu hariç) nedenleriyle, doğru anlaşılması ve tıbbi dikkat gerektiren bir hastalıktır. Burun tıkanıklığı, burun akıntısı, hapşırık,öksürük, boğaz ağrısı, baş ağrısı, kırgınlık, hafif ateş ile seyredebilen kendi kendini sınırlayan ve sık görülen bir hastalıktır. En sık rinovirüslere bağlı olarak görülmekle beraber pek çok virüse bağlı olarak gelişebilir. Bulaş esas olarak insandan insanadır. Direk ellerle temas veya solunum yoluyla yayılım olabilir. Yılın her döneminde görülebilmekle beraber en sık olarak ilkbahar ve sonbaharda gözlenir. Tedavide destekleyici bakım esastır.
