Sistemik Hastalıkların Oküler Yansımaları
Özet
Gerek evcil hayvan türlerinde ve gerekse insanlarda göz lezyonlarıyla sıklıkla karşılaşılmaktadır. Göz(ler)de ortaya çıkan çeşitli hastalık bulguları nedeniyle kliniğe getirilen hastalarda oftalmolojik muayene yanı sıra genel muayene yapıldığında, çeşitli sistemik bir hastalık(lar) da teşhis edilebilmektedir. Sistemik hastalıkların gözdeki yansımalarının anlatıldığı bu bölümde, birincil olarak gözden köken almayan, ancak gözde klinik bulgulara neden olan hastalık ya da bozukluklar ele alınmıştır. Bu bölümde daha yaygın görülen enfeksiyöz, kardiyovasküler, paraziter, viral, endokrin hastalıklara bağlı göz belirtileri dışında hematolojik, idiyopatik, immun kökenli hastalıklarla birlikte doğmasal, beslenmeye bağlı, zehirlenme ve tümör varlığında ortaya çıkan göz bulgularına değinilmiştir.
