Kornea Hastalıkları

Özet

Veteriner oftalmolojide en sık karşılaşılan hastalıklardan birisi de kornea hastalıklarıdır. Korneaya ilişkin birçok hastalık, tedavi edilmediğinde görme kaybına kadar varabilen klinik sonuçlara yol açmaktadır. Bu bölümde, kedi ve köpeklerde sık karşılaşılan korneaya ilişkin konjenital ve edinsel hastalıklardan bahsedilmiştir. Bu hastalıkların genel özellikleri, klinik bulguları, tanısında hangi metot ve testlerin kullanılacağı, medikal ve cerrahi tedavileri ve hangi durumlarda hangi tedavi seçeneklerinin hastaya daha fazla yarar sağlayacağı ile ilgili bilgiler verilmiştir.
