Kedi ve Köpeklerde Göz Anatomisi ve Görme Fizyolojisi
Özet
Veteriner oftalmolojide oftalmik anatomi ve fizyolojinin tam olarak anlaşılması, oftalmik muayeneler, histopatolojik incelemeler ve/veya cerrahi işlemler sırasında normal yapıların anormal yapılardan ayırt edilebilmesi, göz hastalıklarının patogenezinin anlaşılması bakımından önem arz eder. Omurgalı canlıların evrimi sırasında göz büyük ölçüde aynı temel bileşenleri korumuş olsa da klinik açıdan hayvan türlerine göre önemli farklılıklar mevcuttur. Bu bölümde kedi ve köpeklerdeki oftalmik anatomi ve fizyoloji ile görme fizyolojisine ilişkin temel bilgiler sunulmaktadır.
