Magnezyum
Özet
Magnezyum vücutta en çok bulunan dördüncü mineraldir. ATP metabolizmasında kofaktördür, DNA ve RNA sentezi için oldukça önemlidir. Yeterli ve dengeli bir beslenme ile besinlerle yeterli miktarda magnezyum alımı sağlanır. Bazı hastalıklarda (DEHB, epilepsi, migren tipi baş ağrıları gibi) magnezyum desteği sağlanabilir. Hipomagnezemi; Alzheimer hastalığı, astım, DEHB, insülin direnci, tip 2 diyabet, hipertansiyon, kardiyovasküler hastalık, migren tipi baş ağrıları ve osteoporoz gibi birçok hastalıkla ilişkilidir. Hipermagnezemide de uyku hali, hipokalsemi, derin tendon reflekslerinin yokluğu, hipotansiyon, bradikardi ve EKG değişiklikleri gözlenebilir.
Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the body. It is a cofactor in ATP metabolism and is very important for DNA and RNA synthesis. Adequate magnesium intake is ensured through an adequate and balanced diet. Magnesium support can be provided in some diseases (such as ADHD, epilepsy, migraine headaches). Hypomagnesemia: It is associated with many diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, asthma, ADHD, insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, migraine headaches and osteoporosis. Drowsiness, hypocalcemia, absence of deep tendon reflexes, hypotension, bradycardia and ECG changes may also be observed in hypermagnesemia.
