Özet
Dijital imza, bir belgenin kimliğini doğrulamak ve içeriğinin değiştirilmediğini garanti etmek için kullanılan kriptografik bir tekniktir. Islak imzanın dijital ortamdaki karşılığıdır ve imzalayan kişinin kimliğini doğrular, belgenin içeriğinin değiştirilemez olduğunu garanti eder.
Adli belge inceleme uzmanı olarak, dijital imzaların yaygınlaşmasıyla birlikte bu alandaki adli vakaların da arttığını gözlemlemekteyiz. Bu makalede, bir kişinin haberi olmadan adına yeni bir telefon hattı açıldığı iddiasıyla yaptığı suç duyurusu ele alınmaktadır. Bu kapsamda, kişinin dijital ortamda (örneğin iPad gibi bir cihazda) attığı imza ile abonelik sözleşmesindeki imzanın karşılaştırılması ve aidiyetinin tespiti SignAlyz 1.7.0.6 programı üzerinden ISO/IEC 19794-7 uluslararası standartları çerçevesinde ele alınmıştır.Bu olgu sunumu, dijital imzaların adli belge incelemelerindeki yerini ve önemini göstermesi açısından değerlidir.
A digital signature is a cryptographic technique used to verify the identity of a document and to guarantee that its content has not been altered. It is the digital equivalent of a wet signature and verifies the identity of the signer and guarantees that the content of the document cannot be changed.
As a questioned document examination expert, we observe that with the widespread use of digital signatures, the number of forensic cases in this field has also increased. This article examines a criminal complaint filed by a person claiming that a new telephone line was opened in his name without his knowledge. In this context, the comparison of the signature made by a person in a digital environment (for example, on a device such as an iPad) with the signature on the subscription agreement and the determination of its affiliation are discussed within the framework of ISO/IEC 19794-7 international standards using the SignAlyz 1.7.0.6 program. This case report is valuable in terms of showing the place and importance of digital signatures in questioned document examinations.
