Özet
Özgül (edinsel-kazanılmış) bağışıklık sistemi patojenlere karşı hedefe yönelik, etkili, uzun süreli bir yanıt geliştirmesini sağlarlar. Ayrıca aynı patojenle yeniden karşılaşma durumunda daha hızlı ve güçlü bir koruma sunar. Özgül bağışıklığın temel hücreleri T ve B lenfositlerdir. Makrofajlar ve dentritik hücreler hem doğal bağışıklık ve özgül bağışıklık arasında köprü rolü oynarlar. Bu bölümde özgül bağışıklık sistemi tartışılmıştır.
