Antibiyotiklerin Sınıflandırılması ve Etki Mekanizmaları
Özet
Antimikrobiyal kemoterapi, 1920'lerde penisilinin keşfinden bu yana insanlarda bulaşıcı hastalıklarının tedavisinde hayati bir rol oynamıştır (1). Yüzlerce antimikrobiyal ajan geliştirilmiştir ve çeşitli sınıflardaki birden fazla ajan şu anda klinik kullanım için mevcuttur (1). Ancak, ajanların çokluğu ve sürekli geliştirilmesi, klinisyenlerin alandaki ilerlemeyi takip etmesini zorlaştırdığı gibi rutin ve özel duyarlılık testlerine hangi ajanların dahil edilmesinin uygun olduğuna karar vermesi gereken klinik mikrobiyologlar için de önemli zorluklar ortaya koymaktadır (1). Antibakteriyel ajanları sınıflandırmanın üç yolu vardır:
