Kardiyolojide Beslenme

A healthy diet along with general activity, smoking cessation, sleep and stress reduction provide a foundation for cardiometabolic growth and treatment, including treatment for heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, obesity. Specific foods and general dietary patterns are typically the most important elements of isolated single nutrients for cardiometabolic health. Inadequate intake of protective foods – for example, minimally processed, phytonutrient-rich foods such as fruits, seeds, nuts, beans, vegetables and whole cuts – produces disease burdens similar to or greater than excess intake of unhealthy diets.
