Nutritional status is a crucial factor that directly affects an individual’s quality of life and disease outcomes. Malnutrition can negatively impact the recovery process of patients, increase treatment costs, and prolong hospital stays. Therefore, nutritional screening and assessment at hospital admission are essential for determining patients’ nutritional status and providing appropriate interventions.
