Damar Cerrahisi Öncesi Hemşirelik Bakımı

Yazarlar

Vascular diseases are conditions that often require surgical intervention and require management of accompanying comorbidities. Therefore, optimizing the patient before surgery is important for the success of the surgical intervention and the quality of life of the patients. The aim is to manage the patient's comorbid diseases and reduce the response to surgical stress response, send the patient home as quickly as possible, and continue education and counseling. For this purpose, nurses play important roles within the team by ensuring that evidence-based interventions are implemented before surgery on patients who will undergo vascular surgery. In this section, under the heading of preoperative preparation, the points that should be taken into consideration in patient preparation and nursing care before artery, vein, aneurysm and dissection surgery are presented in the light of current studies.
