Yönetim Kavramı ve Tarihsel Gelişimi
Özet
Bu bölümde yönetim kavramı, tarihsel gelişimi ve günümüzün yönetim yaklaşımlarına dönüşümü kapsamında detaylı bir şekilde ele alınmaktadır. Yönetim, bir örgütün hedeflerine ulaşmak için insan, malzeme ve finansal kaynakların etkin ve verimli bir şekilde kullanılması olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Yönetim düşüncesinin gelişimi, farklı dönemlerde ortaya çıkan teorilerle şekillenmiş ve her dönemde yeni yaklaşımlar eklenerek zenginleşmiştir. Klasik yönetim teorileri, verimlilik ve rasyonaliteyi ön plana çıkarırken, insan faktörünü göz ardı ettikleri eleştirisiyle karşı karşıya kalmışlardır. Bu dönemin ardından gelen Neo-Klasik dönemde, çalışanların sosyal ve psikolojik ihtiyaçlarını dikkate alan insan ilişkileri yaklaşımı geliştirilmiştir. Modern dönem yönetim teorilerinde ise, örgütlerin çevresel faktörlerle ilişkisini ve stratejik yönetimi vurgulayan daha dinamik ve esnek yaklaşımlar benimsenmiştir. Dijitalleşme, küreselleşme ve sürdürülebilirlik gibi konular ise günümüzün yönetim anlayışında önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Dolayısıyla bölümde, yönetim anlayışının tarihsel evrimi ile birlikte günümüz yönetim yaklaşımlarının iş dünyasındaki önemi ve bu yaklaşımların örgütlerin başarısındaki kritik rolü detaylandırılmıştır.
