Sınıfta İletişim
Özet
Sınıf yönetiminde iletişim boyutu, öğretmen ve öğrenciler için öğrenme-öğretme sürecinin dinamizmini sağlayan bir özelliğe sahiptir. Sınıfta öğretmen ve öğrenciler arasındaki iletişim, sınıf yönetiminin her boyutunu etkilediği gibi, aynı zamanda sınıfın fiziki yapısı, motivasyon, sınıf kuralları, istenmeyen davranışlar ve sınıfta liderlik gibi boyutlar da sınıf iletişimini doğrudan etkileyebilmektedir. Düşük motivasyona sahip bir öğrencinin hem öğretmeni hem de sınıf arkadaşlarıyla hiç iletişimi olmayabilir. Derse her gün coşkuyla giren bir öğretmen öğrencileriyle güçlü bir etkileşim içinde olabilir. Sınıfta iletişim, öğretmenin ve öğrencinin sınıf içindeki bilgi aktarımından ibaret değildir. Çağdaş anlamda sınıfta iletişim, sınıfta empatiyi teşvik etme, akademik başarı ve duygusal-sosyal gelişim için temel oluşturan ilişkiler kurma sanatı olarak düşünülebilir. Sınıfta iletişim, bir madalyonun iki yüzü gibidir. Öğretmenin ve öğrencilerin sözlü ve sözsüz iletişimleri birbirini tamamlamaktadır. Günümüzde değişen eğitim ve öğrenme paradigmaları, sınıfta iletişimin de yapısını değiştirmiştir. Özellikle öğrenci merkezli eğitim, sınıflarda kaynak olarak öğrenciyi ön plana çıkarmıştır. Öğrencinin geri-bildirimini olmazsa olmaz bir koşul durumuna getirmiştir. Böylece sınıfta çift yönlü iletişim daha da gerekli ve güçlü hale gelmiştir. Öğretmenlik mesleğini bir sahne sanatı olarak düşündüğümüzde, sınıfta öğretmenin nasıl bir role sahip olması gerektiğinin önemi anlaşılacaktır. Sınıfta öğretmen, tıpkı bir sanatçı gibi sanatını en iyi şekilde icra edebilmek için incelikle ve ustaca görevini yerine getirmelidir. Dijitalleşmeyle birlikte eğitimde 'sanal sınıf' kavramı ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu bağlamda, sanal sınıflarda iletişim konusu, sınıf yönetiminin önemli ve popüler bir unsuru haline gelmiştir. Teknolojinin, sınıftaki iletişimi etkilemeye devam edeceği ve iletişim bağlamında dönüşümü uğratacağı unutulmamalıdır.
