Kadınların Farklı Fizyolojik Dönemlerinde Probiyotik Kullanımı

Yazarlar

This study examines the effects of probiotics on women's health, highlighting the beneficial roles of specific strains such as Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium, Streptococcus thermophilus, Escherichia coli, and Saccharomyces boulardii. Probiotics support vaginal and gut health throughout different stages of a woman's life, including adolescence, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause. Maintaining a balanced vaginal microbiota is crucial for reducing infection risk and improving overall health. The literature emphasizes the importance of probiotics in these areas, particularly during pregnancy, where they can support both maternal and fetal health and may reduce the risk of gestational diabetes. Additionally, during menopause, probiotics may help maintain hormonal balance and support bone health.
