Mandibular Molar Distalizasyonu

Özet

Mandibular molar distalizasyonu, mandibular arkta yer kazanmak amacıyla mandibular molar dişleri distale hareket ettirerek diş çekimi yapmadan uygulanan bir ortodontik tedavi yöntemidir. Mandibular molar distalizasyonu, geçmişten günümüze lip bumber, franzulum ve sabit mekanikler gibi birçok intraoral aygıtla etkili bir şekilde gerçekleştirilmektedir. Bununla birlikte, bu apareylerin mevcut yan etkilerinden kaçınabilmek amacıyla iskeletsel ankraj kullanımı günümüzde yaygınlaşmıştır. Son dönemde estetik ve konforlu olması gibi avantajları bulunan şeffaf plak sistemleri de molar distalizasyonunda etkili bir şekilde kullanılmaktadır. Bu bölümnde mandibular molar distalizasyonunda kullanılan intraoral yöntemler ve etkileri anlatılmıştır.

Mandibular molar distalization is a non-extraction orthodontic treatment approach that is designed to create space in the mandibular arch by moving the mandibular molars distally. Mandibular molar distalization has been effectively performed using various intraoral appliances, including lip bumpers, functional appliances, fixed appliances, etc. However, to avoid the side effects associated with these appliances, the use of skeletal anchorage has become increasingly common. Recently, clear aligner systems, which offer advantages in terms of aesthetics and comfort, have also been used effectively for mandibular molar distalization. This section describes the intraoral methods used in mandibular molar distalization and their effects.
