Ethical Problems and Solution Suggestions in Organ Transplantation

Özet

Organ transplantation is a surgical treatment method that is widely practiced worldwide as a treatment option for end-stage organ failure. There are significant variations in the number of donors depending on the cultural values, religious values and legal procedures of the societies in the world. In order to increase the number of voluntary organ donors and reduce the number of patients waiting for organs, health institutions, religious institutions and non-governmental organizations in all countries should play a more comprehensive and effective role in this issue. Especially the fact that organ transplantation will bring back to life many patients waiting for organs should be emphasized.
