Kas İskelet Sistemi Hastalıklarında Geleneksel ve Tamamlayıcı Tıp Uygulamaları
Özet
Kas iskelet sistemi hastalıklarına bağlı olarak ortaya çıkan ağrı ve hareket kısıtlılığı gibi semptomlar hastaların yaşam kalitesini olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Bu semptomların kontrol altına alınmasında medikal tedaviler, fizyoterapiler ve cerrahi yöntemlerin yanında geleneksel ve tamamlayıcı tıp uygulamaları da sıklıkla tercih edilmektedir. Geleneksel ve tamamlayıcı tıp uygulamaları eski çağlardan günümüze kadar çeşitli hastalıkların tedavisinde kullanılmaktadır. Kas iskelet sistemi hastalıklarında akupunktur, proloterapi, kayropaktif tedavi, ozon terapi, kupa hacamat, mezoterapi, hirudoterapi, osteopati ve refleksoloji gibi geleneksel ve tamamlayıcı tıp uygulamaları uygulamaları sıklıkla kullanılmaktadır. Ülkemizde kas iskelet sistemi hastalıkları ve romatolojik hastalıklar geleneksel ve tamamlayıcı tıp uygulamalarına sık başvuru nedeni olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır.
Symptoms such as pain and movement restriction that occur due to musculoskeletal diseases negatively affect the quality of life of patients. In order to control these symptoms, traditional and complementary medicine practices are frequently preferred in addition to medical treatments, physiotherapies and surgical methods. Traditional and complementary medicine practices have been used in the treatment of various diseases from ancient times to the present day. Traditional and complementary medicine practices such as acupuncture, prolotherapy, chiropractic treatment, ozone therapy, cupping therapy, mesotherapy, hirudotherapy, osteopathy and reflexology are frequently used in musculoskeletal diseases. In our country, musculoskeletal diseases and rheumatological diseases are common reasons for applying to traditional and complementary medicine practices.
