Liderlik Alanında Ebelik Hizmetlerinde Karşılaşılan Sorunlar
Özet
Ülkelerin gelişmişlik düzeyini belirleyen anne ölüm hızı ve bebek ölüm hızının ebelik bakımı ile ilişkili olması nedeniyle ve toplum sağlığının iyileştirilebilmesi için ebeliğin kalkınması gerekmektedir. Ebeliğin kalkınması içinde ebelikte liderlik kavramı önem taşımaktadır. Ebelikte liderliğin gelişimi ve değişiminde etkili birçok unsur bulunmaktadır. Bunlardan bazıları; sağlık sisteminin karmaşık yapısı, hızla gelişen teknolojik yapı, liderlerin kişisel özellikleridir.
Dünya genelinde ebelikte liderlik alanında karşılaşılan zorluklar ve bunların düzeyleri ülkeden ülkeye değişmektedir. Ebelik hizmetlerinde liderlik problemlerinin önüne geçilebilirse ülkeler sağlık alanında hızla iyileşme gösterecek ve ebelik mesleği daha hızlı gelişebilecektir. Ebelikte liderlik alanında karşılaşılan sorunların iyileştirilmesine yönelik girişimlerden bazıları; ebelikte liderliği geliştirmeye yönelik önemli yasal adımların atılması, her bir ebenin liderlik görevi olduğunun benimsenmesi ve liderlik özelliklerini geliştirmeye yönelik eğitimlerin verilmesi, örgütlenmeye yönelik teşviklerin artırılması gibi unsurlardır. Ebeler yeteneklerini ortaya koymaları için teşvik edilmelidir. Bu konuda herkesin rolü olduğu unutulmamalı, öğrencilikten başlanarak her zaman liderlik özelliklerine dikkat çekilmelidir. Her kademede her ebenin liderlik gücü olduğu unutulmamalıdır. Bu bölümde liderlik alanında ebelik hizmetinde karşılaşılan sorunlara yer verilmiştir.
