Arteriyel Yaralar ve Bakım Yönetimi

Özet

Arteriyel yaralar/ülserler, periferik arter hastalığına bağlı gelişen yaralardır.  Periferik arter hastalığı için birçok terminoloji kullanılmakta olup; arter hastalığı, arteriyel yetmezlik, periferik vasküler hastalık, alt ekstremite arter hastalığı, alt ekstremite iskemisi, periferik arter tıkayıcı hastalık ve kronik ekstremiteleri tehdit eden iskemi bunlar arasındadır. Bu hastalar iyileşmeyen yaralar, enfeksiyon ve uzuv kaybı ile karşılaşma riski altındadır. Periferik arter hastalığının yüksek prevalansına rağmen, hastaların çoğunluğu teşhis ve tedavi edilememekte veya yetersiz tedavi edilmektedir.  Bu amaçla sağlık çalışanlarının kanıta dayalı kılavuzlarla hazırlanmış arteriyel yaralara ilişkin değerlendirme ve müdahaleleri kullanmaları elzemdir.
