Aktif Spor Yapan Çocuğu Olan Aileler İçin Pratik Bilgiler
Özet
Spor, her yaş grubundan çocuklarımızın biyopsikososyal gelişimine önemli katkılar sağlamaktadır. Ebeveynler olarak, spor alanının seçimi konusunda bireysel ilgi, yetenek, fiziksel ve psikolojik uygunluk, ailevi ve sosyal çevre dikkate alınarak çocuklarımıza yol gösterici olabiliriz. Diğer taraftan, olası komplikasyon ve olumsuzlukların önüne geçebilmek adına, ilgili hekim kontrolleri düzenli olarak gerçekleştirilmelidir. Kronik hastalıklara sahip çocukların, fiziksel durumlarına uygun spor dallarına yönlendirilmesi ve egzersiz öncesi planlama yapılması, hastalığın yönetimi açısından da büyük fayda sağlayacağı unutulmamalıdır. Ayrıca, dengeli bir beslenme programı oluşturmak için beslenme uzmanıyla çalışılmalı ve gerektiğinde diğer sağlık personellerinden destek alınmalıdır. Sonuç olarak, ebeveynler olarak sizlerin, çocuklarınızı mutlu olacakları, yapmaktan keyif alacakları, fiziki yapıları ve karakterlerine uygun spor alanlarına yönlendirmeniz; hekimler olarak bizlerin, başlangıçta varolan ya da sonradan gelişen patolojik durumları erken farketmemiz ve yönetmemiz çocuklarımızı olası olumsuz durumlardan koruyacaktır. Bu durumu, çocuklarımız, ebeveynleri ve sağlık profesyonelleri arasında iyi bir iletişim ve koordinasyon ile sağlamak mümkündür.
