Mide Tümörleri

Mide kanseri dünya genelinde sık görülen bir tümördür. Epitelden gelişen adenokanser dışında mide duvarından gelişen tümörlerde görülebilmektedir. Mide tümörü gelişiminde çevresel, beslenme ve genetik faktörler yer alır. İntestinal ve diffüz formları olan bu tümörler erken, lokal ileri ve metastatik olarak evrelenir. Tanıda endoskopik değerlendirme önemlidir. Tümörün lenfatik, hematojen, peritoneal ve komşuluk yolları ile yayılımının değerlendirilmesi ile doğru evrelenmesi, ideal tedavi yaklaşımlarının seçilmesinde önemli yer teşkil eder. Tedavide endoskopik yöntemler, rezeksiyon ve lenfatik diseksiyondan oluşan cerrahi yöntemler, peritoneal ve metastatik hastalığın tedavisi, kemoterapi, radyoterapi ve immünoterapinin adjuvan veya neoadjuvan olarak verilmesinden oluşan multidisipliner tedavi yöntemleri uygulanır. 

Gastric cancer is a common tumor worldwide. Apart from adenocarcinoma that develops from the epithelium, it can also be seen in tumors that develop from the stomach wall. Environmental, nutritional and genetic factors are involved in the development of gastric tumors. These tumors, which have intestinal and diffuse forms, are staged as early, locally advanced and metastatic. Endoscopic evaluation is important in diagnosis. Accurate staging of the tumor by evaluating its spread through lymphatic, hematogenous, peritoneal and neighborhood pathways is important in choosing ideal treatment approaches. Multidisciplinary treatment methods consisting of endoscopic methods, surgical methods consisting of resection and lymphatic dissection, treatment of peritoneal and metastatic disease, adjuvant or neoadjuvant administration of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and immunotherapy are applied in the treatment.
