Akut Apandisit
Özet
Akut apandisit, apendiks lümeninin tıkanması sonucu gelişen inflamatuar bir hastalıktır ve tedavi edilmediğinde perforasyona yol açabilir. Tanı genellikle klinik bulgular, laboratuvar testleri ve görüntüleme yöntemleri ile konur. Tedavide genellikle acil apendektomi uygulanır. Apendiks neoplazmları, apandisit ile karışabilen nadir tümörlerdir ve tedavi genellikle tümör boyutuna ve histolojik özelliklerine bağlı olarak apendektomi veya sağ hemikolektomi ile yapılır.
Acute appendicitis is an inflammatory condition caused by luminal obstruction of the appendix, which can lead to perforation if untreated. Diagnosis is typically made through clinical findings, laboratory tests, and imaging studies. Treatment usually involves emergency appendectomy. Appendix neoplasms, rare tumors that can mimic appendicitis, are treated with appendectomy or right hemicolectomy, depending on tumor size and histological features.
