İklim Değişikliğinin Hemşirelik Eğitimine Entegrasyonu

Özet

Uluslararası Hemşireler Konseyi (ICN) 2050 yılına kadar karbon nötrlüğüne ulaşmak için 'hızlı, geniş kapsamlı ve benzeri görülmemiş değişiklikler yapılmak zorundadır” başlığı altında hemşireleri hem ulusal hem bireysel düzeyde iklim değişikliğinin etkilerinin azaltılmasında rol almaya çağırmaktadır. Bilimsel kanıtlar, iklim değişikliğini hafifletme, değişikliğin etkilerine uyum ve direnç stratejilerini ele alma yetkinliğini sağlamak için akademik ve profesyonel eğitimin her seviyesinde hemşirelerin yetiştirilmelerinin öneminin altını çizmektedir. Hemşirelik eğitimine iklim değişikliğinin entegre edilmesi ve hemşirelerin küresel anlamda bu role hazırlanması gerekmektedir.
