İklim Değişikliğinin Ruh Sağlığına Etkileri
Özet
Geçmişten günümüze insan aktiviteleri doğayı büyük ölçüde etkilemiştir, bu durum sanayi devrimi ile artarak devam etmiş ve küresel iklimin değişmesini hızlandırıcı faktörlerden biri olmuştur. İklim değişikliği, canlı yaşamının birçok alanında olumsuz etkiler oluşturduğu gibi, ruh sağlığını da doğrudan ve dolaylı olarak olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Bu etkiler canlılar üzerinde akut ve kronik olmak üzere gözlemlenmektedir. Bu bölümde gözlemlenen sonuçlara rağmen insanların iklim değişikliğini durdurmaya ya da azaltmaya yönelik eylemlerde bulunmalarını engelleyen psikolojik bariyerler, alınabilecek önlemler ve ruh sağlığı hemşiresinin rolleri incelenecektir.
