Cerrahi Yoğun Bakım Hastasında Bakım

Özet

Cerrahi yoğun bakım üniteleri, cerrahi girişim öncesi ve sonrası dönemde hasta bakım gereksinimlerini karşılamak amacıyla özel olarak tasarlanmış sağlık hizmeti ortamlarıdır. Hemşirelik bakımı, hastaların fizyolojik ve psikolojik parametrelerinin bütüncül bir yaklaşımla dikkatlice izlenmesini, kanıta dayalı tedavi uygulamalarının gerçekleştirilmesini ve multidisipliner ekip yaklaşımıyla uyumlu bir iş birliği içinde çalışılmasını içeren çok yönlü bileşenlerden oluşmaktadır. Bu kapsamlı bakım modeli, cerrahi yoğun bakımda hasta bakım süreçlerinin etkinliğini ve hasta sonuçlarının iyileştirilmesini doğrudan etkilemektedir.
Hemşirelerin hasta ve aile üyeleri ile etkili iletişim kurarak psikososyal destek sağlama becerileri de tedavi sürecinin başarısını ve hasta ile yakınlarının memnuniyetini olumlu yönde etkilemektedir. Bu nedenle, cerrahi yoğun bakım ünitelerinde çalışan hemşirelerin bilgi ve becerilerinin sürekli olarak güncellenmesi ve desteklenmesi, hasta bakım kalitesini en üst düzeye çıkaracak ve cerrahi sonuçları iyileştirecektir. Bu bölümde, cerrahi yoğun bakımda hastanın bakımına yönelik güncel ve detaylı bir inceleme sunulmaktadır.

Surgical intensive care units are healthcare environments specially designed to meet patient care needs before and after surgical intervention. Nursing care consists of multifaceted components including careful monitoring of patients' physiological and psychological parameters with a holistic approach, realization of evidence-based treatment practices and working in a harmonious cooperation with a multidisciplinary team approach. This comprehensive care model directly affects the effectiveness of patient care processes and improvement of patient outcomes in surgical intensive care.
Nurses' ability to provide psychosocial support by communicating effectively with patients and family members also positively affects the success of the treatment process and the satisfaction of patients and their relatives. Therefore, continuously updating and supporting the knowledge and skills of nurses working in surgical intensive care units will maximize the quality of patient care and improve surgical outcomes. In this chapter, an up-to-date and detailed review of patient care in surgical intensive care units is presented.
