Yanıklı Hastada Bakım
Özet
Yanık, ısı, kimyasal maddeler, elektrik akımı veya diğer faktörlerin doku hasarına neden olduğu bir durumdur. Yanıklar esas olarak cildi etkilemesine karşın, kemik veya kas gibi daha derin dokularda da harabiyete yol açmaktadır. Cilt yandığında dış ortam ile patojenlerden korunma, buharlaşma ve ısı kaybı gibi temel işlevlerini kaybetmektedir. Yanığın evresine, hastanın durumuna ve yanığın nedenine bağlı olarak uygun tedavinin yapılması gerekmektedir. Yanık hastasının tedavi ve bakımı acil, akut ve rehabilitasyon dönemi olarak ele alınmaktadır. Yanıklı hastada mortalite ve morbidite oranının azaltılması ve tedavinin etkin hale getirilmesinde, teknolojinin ilerlemesi ile yara bakım ürünlerindeki gelişmeler ve yanık ekibi kavramı etkili olmuştur. Hemşirenin, yanık hastasının bakımının her dönemde hastanın fiziksel, psikolojik ve sosyal bakımında önemli rolleri bulunmaktadır.
A burn is a condition where heat, chemicals, electric current, or other factors cause tissue damage. Although burns mainly affect the skin, deeper tissues such as bone or muscle can also be damaged. When the skin is burned, it loses its basic functions such as protection from the external environment and pathogens, evaporation and heat loss. Depending on the stage of the burn, the patient's condition and the cause of the burn, appropriate treatment is required. Treatment and care of the burn patient are handled in emergency, acute, and rehabilitation periods. With the advancement of technology, developments in wound care products and the concept of a burn team have been effective in reducing the mortality and morbidity rate in burn patients and making the treatment effective. The nurse has an important role in the physical, psychological, and social care of the patient in every period of burn patient care.
