Lojistik Yönetimi ve Stratejileri
Özet
Günümüzün gittikçe artan rekabetçi küresel pazarında, kuruluşların değer yaratmanın ve bunu müşterilerine sunmanın yeni yollarını bulmaları yönündeki baskı her zamankinden daha da yoğun hissedilmektedir. Bu durum, lojistiğin işletmeler için önemini son yıllarda açıkça göstermiştir. İşletme organizsayonu ve tedarik zinciri genelinde etkili lojistik yönetiminin, maliyetlerin azaltılması ve hizmetin geliştirilmesi hedefine büyük ölçüde yardımcı olabileceği giderek artan bir şekilde kabul edilmektedir. Lojistik yönetiminde, başarının anahtarına ulaşmak için, tedarikçilerden müşterilere kadar firma ve tüm tedarik zinciri boyunca faaliyetlerin entegrasyonu, işbirliği, koordinasyonu ve bilgi paylaşımının sağlanmasına yoğun önem verilmelidir. Entegrasyon zorluğuna yanıt verebilmek için modern işletmelerin, bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerindeki ilerlemelerle birlikte güçlü matematiksel modellere ve çözüm tekniklerine dayanan gelişmiş karar destek sistemlerine ve stratejilere ihtiyacı vardır. İşletmelerde pazarlama stratejilerinin rolünün talebi canlandırmak olduğunu varsayarsanız, lojistiğin rolü tüketicilerden gelen talebi karşılamak olur. Bunun örgütsel sonuçları çok büyüktür. Dolayısıyla lojistik işlevsel bir faaliyet değil, bir çerçevedir. Sadece operasyonel bir işlev değil, bir planlama mekanizması ve düşünme biçimidir. Bu metin, her geçen gün önemi artan lojistik yönetimi ve stratejileri ile ilgili olarak işletmelerdeki karar vericilere ve okuyuculara bilgiler sunmaktadır. Bu doğrultuda lojistik kavramının kökenini, tarihsel gelişimini, tedarik ve değer zinciri ile olan ilişkisi, lojistik yönetimi ve stratejileri gibi ana konulara yer verilmiştir.
