Sessiz İstifa (Quiet Quitting)

Özet

Günümüzde küreselleşme, teknolojinin gelişmesi ve ilerlemesi gibi hızla değişen ve gelişen dünyada, her alanda olduğu gibi çalışma hayatında da farklılıklar olabilmektedir ve çalışanların da beklentileri değişebilmektedir. Birçok çalışanın, çalışma koşullarından memnun olmadığında, işten ayrılmak yerine minimum düzeyde çaba göstererek sadece verilen görevi yaparak işine devam etmesi sessiz istifa davranışı gösterdiğini düşündürmektedir. Sessiz istifa özellikle son zamanlarda tüm dünyada çalışanların eğilim gösterdiği bir davranış olabilmektedir. Çalışanların sessiz istifa davranışı göstermesi, hem kurumu hem de hizmeti alanları olumsuz etkileyebilmektedir. Yöneticilerin, çalışanlarının sessiz istifa eğilimine neden olan faktörleri belirleyip bunlara yönelik önlemler alması gerekmektedir. Önemli olan sessiz istifayı düşündürmeyecek bir çalışma ortamının ve koşullarının kurumlar ve yöneticiler tarafından sağlanmasıdır.

Today, in the rapidly changing and developing world such as globalization and the development and progress of technology, there may be differences in working life, as in every field, and the expectations of employees may also change. When many employees are dissatisfied with their working conditions, instead of quitting the job, they continue their work by doing the assigned task with minimal effort, suggesting that they display quiet quitting behavior. Quiet quitting may be a behavior that employees worldwide have tended to have, especially recently. Quiet quitting behavior of employees may negatively affect both the institution and the service recipients. Managers must identify the factors that cause their employees' quiet quitting tendency and take precautions against them. The important thing is that institutions and managers provide a working environment and conditions that will not encourage quitting.
