İş Becerikliliği (Job Crafting)
Özet
İş becerikliliği, çalışanların özelliklerini işin gereğine göre şekillendirmesine veya işi kişinin özelliklerine göre şekillendirmeye fırsat tanır. Bu durum da çalışanların işin ihtiyaçlarına cevap verebilmesine olanak sağlar. İş becerikliliği davranışı ile çalışanlar yaptıkları işi anlamlandırmaya çalışmaktadırlar. Böylece çalışanlar yaptıkları işi benimseyecek ve daha bir performans sağlayabileceklerdir. Bu süreçte çalışanlar yaptıkları işi kendi yetenekleri doğrultusunda şekillendirmiş olacaklardır. Çalışma ortamında yapılan işin anlamlılığına olumlu ya da olumsuz katkı sağlayan pek çok değişken olmakla birlikte, çalışanın kendi yetenek ve özellikleriyle birlikte ne istediğini bilerek hareket etmesi yaptığı işi daha da anlamlı hale getirmektir. Böylece kişi-iş uyumu, motivasyonu ve işe bağlılığı artmaktadır. Yine iş becerikliliği ile çalışan işin kontrolünü ele almakta, iş tatmini, çalışan performansı, örgütsel bağlılığı, işe tutkunluğu ve kişi-örgüt uyumu artmaktadır.
Job crafting allows employees to shape their characteristics according to the requirements of the job or to shape the job according to the person's characteristics. This allows employees to respond to the needs of the business. With job crafting behavior, employees try to make sense of the work they do. Thus, employees will adopt the work they do and will be able to provide better performance. In this process, employees will shape their work in line with their own abilities. Although there are many variables in the work environment that contribute positively or negatively to the meaningfulness of the work done, acting by knowing what the employee wants along with his own abilities and characteristics makes his job even more meaningful. Thus, person-job harmony, motivation and job commitment increase. Again, with job crafting, the employee takes control of the job, job satisfaction, employee performance, organizational commitment, work engagement and person-organization fit increase.
