Anaplastik Tiroid Kanseri

Anaplastic thyroid cancer is an extremely aggressive and high-mortality type of cancer. Most cases are metastatic at diagnosis. Most patients are detected at an advanced age. In terms of molecular properties, genetic mutations such as p53 and BRAF are frequently encountered. Overall survival is short, with a one-year survival rate of only around 20% despite treatment. Treatment options include surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
