İnsan Vücudunda Demirin Diğer Metallerle Etkileşimi

Özet

Bu bölüm, demirin biyolojideki merkezi rolünü ve insan vücudunda başta bakır, çinko, kalsiyum, magnezyum ve manganez olmak üzere diğer metallerle olan dinamik etkileşimlerini özetler. Emilim ve taşınmada DMT1, ferroportin, hefaestin ve serüloplazmin gibi ana oyuncuların işlevleri; hem ve non-hem demir yolları; hepsidin aracılı düzenleme ve bağırsak düzeyinde elementler arası rekabet ele alınır. Bakır ve çinkonun demir homeostazına çift yönlü etkileri, kalsiyumun kısa süreli emilim inhibisyonu ve magnezyumla olası sinerji/antagonizmiler klinik örneklerle tartışılır. Ağır metaller (kurşun, kadmiyum, cıva, alüminyum, nikel) demir metabolizmasını bozarak oksidatif stres, porfirin sentez blokajı ve doku birikimi yoluyla hematolojik ve nörolojik sonuçlar doğurabilir. Bölüm, anemi yönetiminde iz elementlerin birlikte değerlendirilmesi, aşırı/yetersiz alımın sonuçları ve klinik karar süreçlerine yansımaları için pratik mesajlar sunar.
