Geriatrik Hastalarda Alt Üriner Sistem Semptomları ve İnkontinans
Özet
Dünyada yaşlı insan nüfusu giderek artmaktadır. Yaşlanma, tüm metabolizmada olduğu gibi alt üriner sistemde de, çeşitli değişikliklere yol açar. Alt üriner sistem semptomları erkeklerde çoğunlukla prostat ve ilişkili hastalıklar nedenlidir. Yaşa bağlı mesane ve alt üriner sistemde fizyolojik işlevleri sağlayan organ ve yapılarda değişiklikler meydana gelmektedir. Başlıca prostat hastalıkları, mesane disfonksiyonu ve idrar kaçırma gibi problemler yaşlı hastalarda alt üriner sistem hastalıklarının temelini oluşturur. Bu hastalıkların tanı, tedavi ve takipleri hasta ve hasta yakınları açısından önemlidir. Alt üriner sistem problemlerinin çözümü yaşlı hastalar için yaşam kalitesini artırmada önemli rol oynar.
