Cinsel Yolla Bulaşan Hastalıklar
Özet
Cinsel yolla bulaşan enfeksiyonların (CYBE) yönetimi öncelikle tespit, tedavi ve korumaya odaklanır. Akut fazda ölümcül olma olasılığı düşük olsa da, yüksek riskli hasta popülasyonları için önemli bir halk sağlığı tehdidi oluşturmaktadır. Çoğunun kendine özgü semptomları vardır ve fizik muayene bulguları ile hızlı tanı konulmasını sağlar. Cinsel yolla bulaşan enfeksiyonların kontrolü ve engellenmesi beş ana strateji içerir. Bunların ilki ayrıntılı bir şekilde yapılan eğitimdir. Daha sonra asemptomatik enfekte bireylerin tespiti, efektif tanı ve tedavi uygulanması, hastaların partnerlerinin de değerlendirilip tanı ve tedavisinin uygulanması ve risk altında olanların aşılanmasıdır.
