Özet
Bu kitap, snowboard sporunun tarihini, gelişimini, branşlarını, ekipmanlarını, stilini ve yapımını ele almaktadır. Snowboard, kış sporlarının bir alt branşı olup, teknik, cesaret, hız, risk, kondisyon, kararlılık gibi özellikleri içeren bir yarışma türüdür. Snowboard, iki ayağın tek bir tahtaya sabitlenmesiyle karlı ve eğimli bir yüzeyden aşağıya özgürce kaymayı sağlayan bir spor olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Kitapta, snowboardun dünya genelindeki tarihi gelişimi ve Türkiye'deki yaygınlaşması ele alınmaktadır. Ayrıca snowboardun farklı branşları olan alpine, cross, park pipe ve stil çeşitleri olan slopestyle, half-pipe ve big-air hakkında bilgiler verilmektedir. Snowboard ekipmanları, yapımı ve bakımıyla ilgili detaylı açıklamalar da kitapta yer almaktadır. Bu kitap, snowboard sporuna ilgi duyanlar için temel bilgileri sunmakta ve sporcuların performanslarını geliştirmelerine yardımcı olmaktadır.
This book covers the history, development, disciplines, equipment, style, and construction of the sport of snowboarding. Snowboarding is a subcategory of winter sports that involves technical skills, courage, speed, risk, fitness, and determination. It is defined as a sport where both feet are attached to a single board, allowing for free sliding down snowy and sloping surfaces. The book discusses the global historical development of snowboarding and its popularization in Turkey. Additionally, it provides information on different disciplines of snowboarding such as alpine, cross, park pipe, as well as various styles including slopestyle, half-pipe, and big-air. Detailed explanations on snowboarding equipment, construction, and maintenance are also included in the book.
