Özet

İstenmeyen gebeliklerin ve kısa doğum aralığının neden olduğu komplikasyonların önlenmesi için postpartum dönemde nitelikli bir kontrasepsiyon danışmanlığı önemlidir. Postpartum kontrasepsiyonun en erken dönemde başlatılması için gebelikten itibaren her fırsatta kadınlarla kontraseptif yöntem seçeneklerinin tartışılması önemlidir. Kaliteli, güncel ve kanıta dayalı bilgilerle uzman profesyoneller tarafından sunulan postpartum kontrasepsiyon danışmanlığı anne bebek sağlığının geliştirilmesine katkı sağlayacaktır. Bu bölümde, postpartum kontrasepsiyon yöntemleri ve danışmanlık yaklaşımları güncel rehberlere ve kanıta dayalı uygulamalara göre sunulmuştur.
