Özet

Temel sağlık hizmetleri arasında yer alan doğurganlığın düzenlenmesi yoksulluğun azaltılması, kadınların güçlendirilmesi ve sürdürülebilir kalkınmanın gerçekleştirilmesinin temelini oluşturmaktadır. Kadınların üreme yaşamları boyunca istedikleri kontraseptifi bilinçli olarak seçmesi ve seçtikleri kontraseptife devam etmesi anne ve çocuk sağlığı için oldukça önemlidir. Bu bölümde kadına yönelik kontraseptif yöntemler; hormonal kontraseptif yöntemler, rahim içi araçlar, bariyer kontraseptifler ve gönüllü cerrahi sterilizasyon başlıkları altında ele alınmıştır.
