Özet

Yenidoğan intrakraniyal kitle lezyonları, yüksek morbidite ve mortalite riski taşıyan, erken tanı ve tedavinin sağ kalım için kritik olduğu önemli bir hastalık grubudurBu kitleler temel olarak beyin tümörleri, galen ven malformasyonları, araknoid kistler ve tümörleri taklit eden diğer durumlar (kanama, hamartom vb.) olarak sınıflandırılır. Tanı sürecinde klinik şüphenin yanı sıra kraniyal ultrasonografi ve özellikle detaylı doku analizi sağlayan MRG en temel araçlardır. Tedavi yaklaşımları tümörün türüne ve yerleşimine göre cerrahi rezeksiyon, kemoterapi veya endovasküler müdahaleleri kapsasa da, pek çok vakada prognoz halen oldukça ağırdır.

 

Neonatal intracranial mass lesions are a critical group of diseases with high morbidity and mortality, where early diagnosis and treatment determine survivalThese lesions are categorized into four main groups: brain tumors, vein of Galen malformations, arachnoid cysts, and conditions mimicking brain tumors. While clinical suspicion is essential for diagnosis, cranial ultrasound and especially MRI are the primary imaging tools for detailed tissue analysis. Although treatment strategies include surgical resection, chemotherapy, or endovascular interventions depending on the type and location of the mass, the prognosis remains poor for many cases.
