Neuromonitoring and cerebral function protection are critical in neonatal intensive care units to improve neurological survival and developmental prognosis for high-risk infants. Advanced monitoring methods such as vEEG, aEEG, and NIRS are indispensable tools for supporting diagnosis and treatment decisions, particularly in cases of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and seizures. These methods should be standardized based on the infant's gestational age and clinical condition, forming the foundation for both rapid bedside assessment and long-term neurodevelopmental follow-up.
