Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy is a critical neonatal clinical condition arising from insufficient oxygenation and tissue perfusion, carrying significant risks of mortality and morbidity. The diagnosis of this condition, which triggers cellular energy depletion, inflammation, and cell death, relies on clinical scoring systems and neuroimaging techniques. Current therapeutic strategies center on systemic stabilization, seizure management, and the implementation of therapeutic hypothermia as the gold standard for neuroprotection.
