Intracranial hemorrhages during the neonatal period represent critical risks for neurodevelopmental impairment and morbidity due to the fragility of the developing brain. Prognosis varies significantly depending on the type of hemorrhage—such as subdural, subarachnoid, or intraventricular—as well as the infant's gestational age and the presence of underlying complications. Advanced neuroimaging and comprehensive supportive care are essential for the timely diagnosis and effective management of these conditions to minimize adverse long-term outcomes.
