Perinatal Travma
Perinatal trauma encompasses a range of injuries to the newborn, including extracranial, cranial, intracranial, spinal cord, and peripheral nerve damage resulting from mechanical forces during labor. Advances in obstetric practices have led to a significant decrease in the incidence of these traumatic injuries. Diagnosis relies on advanced imaging techniques, while management strategies vary from supportive care to surgical intervention depending on the specific nature and severity of the injury.
