Süt Çocuğunda Nörolojik Muayene
Özet
Çocukluk çağında nörolojik muayene, bilişsel fonksiyonların değerlendirilmesiyle başlayıp kraniyal sinirler, motor sistem ve reflekslerin sistematik incelenmesiyle devam eden kapsamlı bir süreçtir. Muayene sırasında çocuğun güvenini kazanmak ve yaşına uygun gelişim basamaklarını gözlemlemek, doğru tanı koymak ve hastalıkların progresyonunu takip etmek açısından kritik önem taşır. Süreç; derin tendon refleksleri, duyusal algı ve serebellar koordinasyon testleriyle tamamlanarak merkezi veya periferik sinir sistemindeki olası patolojilerin nöroanatomik lokalizasyonunu belirlemeyi amaçlar.
The pediatric neurological examination is a systematic process that begins with the assessment of cognitive functions and continues with the detailed evaluation of cranial nerves, the motor system, and reflexes. Establishing the child's trust and observing age-appropriate developmental milestones are crucial for accurate diagnosis and monitoring disease progression. The examination is finalized through deep tendon reflexes, sensory perception, and cerebellar coordination tests to identify the neuroanatomical localization of potential pathologies within the central or peripheral nervous system.
