Bilim ve Teknoloji
Özet
Teknoloji, bilim ve toplum arasındaki ilişki karmaşıktır. Sosyolojinin teknolojiyi inceleyişi bir bilim olarak ortaya çıktığı döneme dayansa ve kurucu sosyologların teknolojiye dair fikirleri olsa da literatür, birbirine karşıt yaklaşımlarla, konunun farklı yönlerine odaklanmaktadır. Modern bilim insanlık tarihi açısından oldukça yeni bir kavramdır. Öncesinde teknoloji ve hatta teknik gelmektedir. Akıllı telefonlar nasıl ki bir teknoloji ise ilkel insan için bir taşı silah olarak kullanmak da teknolojidir. Bu bölüm teknoloji ve toplum ilişkisini tarihsel bir izlek üstünde geçmişten yarına, pek çok noktaya değinerek ele alan bir anlatı sunma gayretindedir.
