İslam Kültüründe Mihrab Kitabeleri

Bu kitap, İslam kültüründe mihrab kitabelerini konu alan bir çalışmadır. Yazar, mihrabın camiye giren herkesin ilk dikkatini çeken bir mekan olduğunu belirtmektedir. Ancak, bu yapı biriminde kullanılan yazılarla ilgili özel bir çalışma yapılmamıştır. Bu eksikliği gidermek amacıyla yapılan bu çalışmada, mihrab yazılarının çözümlenmesi ve kullanım biçimleri incelenmiştir. Yazar, bu çalışmada birçok zorlukla karşılaştıklarını ve malzemeye ulaşma sıkıntısı yaşadıklarını ifade etmektedir. Bu nedenle, bazı şehirlere seyahat edilerek yapılar yerinde incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde mihrabın tanımı ve geçirdiği süreç anlatılmış, ikinci bölümde mihrablarda görülen ayetlerin ve diğer yazıların çözümlenmesi yapılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde ise mihrab yazılarının kullanım biçimleri incelenmiştir. 

This book is a study on mihrab inscriptions in Islamic culture. The author states that the mihrab is a space that catches the attention of everyone entering the mosque. However, there has not been a specific study on the inscriptions used in this architectural element. In order to fill this gap, this study examines the deciphering and usage of mihrab inscriptions. The author mentions that they faced many difficulties and had trouble accessing the necessary materials for this study. Therefore, they traveled to some cities to examine the structures on-site. The first part of the study explains the definition of the mihrab and its historical development, while the second part analyzes the verses and other writings found in mihrabs. The third part examines the usage patterns of mihrab inscriptions.
