Osmanlı Devleti’nde Çok Yönlü Bir Ulema Ailesi: Hocazâdeler

Bu kitap, Osmanlı Devleti'nde önemli bir ulema ailesi olan Hocazâdeleri ele almaktadır. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nun ayakta kalma başarısında askeri başarıların yanı sıra yüksek bir kültür ikliminin de rolü olduğu belirtilmektedir. Bu kültür ikliminin oluşmasında ilmiye önemli bir rol oynamıştır. Osmanlı coğrafyasında yetişen veya buraya göç eden birçok alim, mütefekkir ve mutasavvıf, eserleri ve toplumla olan etkileşimleriyle Osmanlı dünyasında özgün bir zihni yapı oluşmasına katkıda bulunmuştur. Bu alimlerin birikimlerini nesilden nesile aktarmaları, zamanla \"ulema ailesi\" adı verilen bir grup oluşumuna yol açmıştır. Hocazâde ailesi, bu tezin odak noktasını oluşturmaktadır ve Osmanlı Devleti'ndeki ulema ailelerinin en meşhuru olduğu iddia edilmektedir. Aile, yedi şeyhülislam çıkarmış ve bu önemli makamı en uzun süre işgal eden aile unvanını almıştır. Aileye mensup olan Hocazâde Mehmed Efendi, Osmanlı tarihinin en genç yaşta şeyhülislamı olmuştur. This book focuses on the Hocazâde family, an important ulema family in the Ottoman Empire. It is stated that besides military successes, a high cultural climate also played a role in the survival of the Ottoman Empire. The religious scholars (ilmiye) played an important role in the formation of this cultural climate. Many scholars, thinkers, and mystics who were raised or migrated to the Ottoman territories contributed to the formation of a unique intellectual structure in the Ottoman world through their works and interactions with society. The transmission of these scholars' knowledge from generation to generation eventually led to the formation of a group called the \"ulema family\". The Hocazâde family is the focus of this thesis and is claimed to be the most famous ulema family in the Ottoman Empire. The family has produced seven grand muftis and holds the title of the family that occupied this important position for the longest period of time. Hocazâde Mehmed Efendi, a member of the family, became the youngest grand mufti in Ottoman history. This thesis examines the important role and influence of the Hocazâde family in the Ottoman Empire.
