Bu kitap, 28 Şubat sürecinde İmam Hatip liselerinin durumunu incelemektedir. Araştırmanın amacı, Adana örneği üzerinden İmam Hatip liselerinin yaşadığı değişimleri ve etkilerini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma, belirlenen hipotezler doğrultusunda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Evren ve örneklem, Adana ilinde bulunan İmam Hatip liseleri ve bu liselerde eğitim gören öğrencilerden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama araçları olarak anket ve mülakatlar kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi ve yorumlanmasında istatistiksel teknikler kullanılmıştır. İlk bölümde İmam Hatip liselerinin tarihî gelişim süreci ele alınmıştır. Cumhuriyet öncesi dönemde medreseler ve ıslah çalışmaları incelenmiştir. Cumhuriyet döneminde ise Tevhid-i Tedrisat Kanunu, İmam Hatip mekteplerinin kuruluşu ve İmam Hatip kurslarına değinilmiştir. 1951-1971 yılları arasında ise Yedi Yıllık İmam Hatip okullarının açılması ve gelişimi ele alınmıştır. Bu kitap, İmam Hatip liselerinin tarihî sürecini ve Adana örneği üzerinden yaşanan değişimleri detaylı bir şekilde incelemektedir.

This book examines the situation of Imam Hatip schools during the February 28th process. The aim of the research is to reveal the changes and effects experienced by Imam Hatip schools through the example of Adana. The study was conducted in accordance with the determined hypotheses. The population and sample consist of Imam Hatip schools in Adana and the students studying in these schools. Surveys and interviews were used as data collection tools. Statistical techniques were used for data analysis and interpretation. The first chapter discusses the historical development process of Imam Hatip schools. Pre-republican period, madrasas and reform efforts were examined. In the Republican period, the Law on Unification of Education, establishment of Imam Hatip schools and Imam Hatip courses were discussed. Between 1951 and 1971, the opening and development of Seven-Year Imam Hatip schools were addressed. This book thoroughly examines the historical process of Imam Hatip schools and the changes experienced through the example of Adana.
