Bu kitap, sivil havacılıkta haberleşme, seyrüsefer ve gözetim hizmetleri için bakım yönetimi konusunu ele almaktadır. Havayolu ulaşımı sektörünün yapısal analizi ile başlayan kitap, havayolu ulaşımının tanımı ve özelliklerini, sektörün temel aktörlerini ve bileşenlerini inceler. Havayolu işletmeleri, havaalanı operasyonları, insan kaynakları yapısı ve eğitim kurumları gibi konulara da değinir. Dünyada ve Türkiye'de havayolu ulaşımı sektörünün durumunu analiz eder. Sivil havacılık hizmetlerinin gelişimi, alt sistemleri ve uluslararası kuruluşlar ile fonksiyonlarını ele alır. Türkiye'de sivil havacılık hizmetlerinin gelişimini kronolojik olarak inceler ve aktörlerin fonksiyonlarını açıklar. Ayrıca, Türk sivil havacılık hizmetlerinde AB'ne uyum çalışmalarını da ele alır. Kitabın ikinci bölümü ise sivil havacılık hava sahalarında haberleşme, seyrüsefer ve gözetim sistemlerini tanımlar. Temel CNS terimlerini ve kavramlarını açıklar. Bu kitap, Dr. Erdal Dursun tarafından Prof. Dr. Ünsal Ban'ın danışmanlığında yürütülen \"Türk Sivil Havacılık Sektöründe Haberleşme Seyrüsefer Gözetim (CNS) Hizmetleri İçin SCOR Esaslı Bakım Yönetim Modeli Önerisi\" adlı doktora tezinden üretilmiştir.

This book addresses the maintenance management for communication, navigation, and surveillance services in civil aviation. Starting with a structural analysis of the air transportation sector, the book examines the definition and characteristics of air transportation, as well as the key actors and components of the sector. It also touches on topics such as airline operations, airport operations, human resources structure, and educational institutions. The book analyzes the state of the air transportation sector globally and in Turkey. It discusses the development of civil aviation services, their subsystems, international organizations, and functions. It chronologically examines the development of civil aviation services in Turkey and explains the functions of the actors involved. Additionally, it discusses the efforts towards harmonization with the EU in Turkish civil aviation services. The second part of the book defines communication, navigation, and surveillance systems in civil aviation airspace. It explains the basic CNS terms and concepts. This book is based on the doctoral thesis titled \"Proposal of an SCOR-Based Maintenance Management Model for Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance (CNS) Services in the Turkish Civil Aviation Sector,\" conducted under the supervision of Dr. Erdal Dursun and advised by Prof. Dr. Ünsal Ban.
