Bu kitap, ECDIS'in kullanımıyla ilgili bilgileri sunarken, aynı zamanda ECDIS'in getirdiği emniyet risklerine de dikkat çekmektedir. Kitap, genel ECDIS bilgilerini içermekte olup, belirli bir model veya marka ECDIS hakkında bilgi vermek yerine, kullanıcının herhangi bir model veya marka ECDIS'e kolayca uyum sağlamasını hedeflemektedir. The book covers topics related to the use of ECDIS based on the IMO ECDIS Performance Standards. ECDIS is an important device that changes navigation operations in maritime industry. While providing information about the use of ECDIS, this book also highlights the safety risks associated with its use. The book includes general information about ECDIS and aims to enable users to easily adapt to any model or brand of ECDIS, rather than providing information about a specific model or brand. The purpose of this book is to contribute to the safety of navigation by enhancing the situational awareness of the bridge team through effective use of ECDIS.
