Limnoloji

Kitabın yazarı Prof. Dr. M. Ziya Lugal Göksu, bu kitabın Su Ürünleri Fakültelerinde okutulan Limnoloji derslerinde kullanılmak üzere hazırlandığını belirtmektedir. Ayrıca, kitabın sadece su ürünleri mühendislerine değil, konuyla ilgili tüm teknik personele de yardımcı olacağını düşündüğünü ifade etmektedir. Türkiye'de su ürünleri alanında eğitim veren birçok fakülte bulunmasına rağmen, Limnoloji alanında yeterli sayıda Türkçe kaynak bulunmadığını belirtmektedir. Bu nedenle, bu kitabın bu alanda yapılan çalışmalara katkı sağlayacağını ummaktadır. Kitapta, bazı terimlerin Türkçe karşılıklarının olmadığından dolayı uygun terimlerin kullanıldığını ve yanlış anlamaları önlemek için yabancı kelimelerin Türkçe yazılışlarının kullanıldığını belirtmektedir. Yazar, kitabı yazabilme gücünü ailesine borçlu olduğunu ifade ederek önsözünü sonlandırmaktadır.

The author of the book, Prof. Dr. M. Ziya Lugal Göksu, states that this book has been prepared to be used in Limnology courses taught in Fisheries Faculties. Additionally, he believes that the book will be helpful not only for fisheries engineers but also for all technical personnel related to the subject. Despite the existence of many faculties in Turkey that provide education in the field of fisheries, he points out that there is a lack of sufficient Turkish resources in the field of Limnology. Therefore, he hopes that this book will contribute to the studies conducted in this field. The author mentions that appropriate terms have been used in the book due to the absence of Turkish equivalents for some terms, and the Turkish spellings of foreign words have been used to prevent misunderstandings. The author concludes the preface by expressing that he owes his ability to write the book to his family.
